Indications for teeth extraction:
* Caries, which led to the destruction of the tooth. If the tooth is damaged to such an extent that it can no longer support the crown, there is no point in saving it;
* Chronic infections (for example, advanced tooth cyst);
* Removal of a mobile tooth in case of periodontitis, when the mobility of the tooth or teeth cannot be stopped, it is impossible to keep them in the socket;
* When the wisdom tooth (eight) has not fully erupted – the problems of a retained or semi-retained wisdom tooth (remained under the hood) are solved by removal;
* Improper position of the 8th tooth (molar) leads to bite deformation – removal of a dislocated wisdom tooth is also required;
* It is necessary to remove the infected tooth root;
* There is a crack in the root of the tooth. In many cases, a cracked root is also an indication for tooth extraction;
* On the recommendation of an orthodontist – for successful treatment with bracket systems, sometimes it is necessary to resort to removal.
